It wasn’t until the HTC Hero, the company’s 3rd Android Phone, that they launched their custom Android build called HTC Sense. That goes without saying the HTC Dream/G1 and HTC Magic/MyTouch were stock, plain old vanilla Android (which I tend to enjoy by itself). But if you’ve got one of HTC’s first two Androids and crave HTC sense.

This is interesting…There is this T-Mobile ad that showed an Android app for myTouch 3G instrument where Dana Carvey is shown writing ‘call me’ using an app that simulates steam on the glass and then it can be wiped. Fender fans rejoice! T-Mobile has unveiled a limited edition myTouch 3G that has a woodgrain-inspired design and a pre-loaded 16GB microSD card. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced

When you combine powerful forums like xda-developers with Hackers and Developers the results can be amazing.  Such is the case for the latest escapade, a myTouch 3G running the MOTOBLUR UI straight from the CLIQ’s ROM.  It should be noted that while the ROM’s for the Motorola CLIQ work on the myTouch 3G, the device is quite laggy but at the same time calling, SMS and data all work perfectly so it is a bit of a Catch 22. Not long after unveiling the Samsung Behold II , T-Mobile USA has now announced more new phones from its holiday lineup: T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition, T-Mobile Tap, Nokia 3711 and Motorola Cliq (well, we already knew that the Cliq is coming). The T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition is presented as being perfect for music lovers. This myTouch 3G remake has “a guitar-inspired wood-grain finish” and features a 3.5mm headset jack, as well as a 16GB memory card

One would have assumed that T-Mobile would have moved on from their myTouch 3G smartphone and worked on other Android platform packing handsets for future presentation but apparently you’d be wrong, as T-Mobile has taken another look at the myTouch 3G.
