I have been given an opportunity to try out and review the new phone by Verizon (available 11/6/2009) called the Droid. I have the phone until Monday (11/2/2009) and since I have Google Voice I’m going to be using it as my primary phone (cause I don’t have to tell everyone a new phone number). The following video is a quick preview into some of the tests and reviews I’m going to do against it.

Image by MykReeve via Flickr T-Mobile was the first US wireless carrier to support Android and then rolled out the T-Mobile myTouch 3G to add a second Android and become the carrier of choice for Android fans. T-Mobile will be launching a third Android device, the Motorola CLIQ, very soon, but they are no longer the exclusive Android carrier. Sprint has the awesome HTC Hero with the Samsung Moment coming soon and Verizon will have a couple of devices in 2010.

For more details on how all of this was possible and a second video click th

Section: Communications , Smartphones There certainly has been no shortage of Android news as of late.  There was the T-Mobile release of the myTouch 3G in August, the Hero coming to Sprint, the Motorola CLIQ, and the version 1.6 Donut upgrade.  Now Samsung is piling on more news with the announcement of yet another T-Mobile Android phone, the Samsung Behold II, which will put T-Mobile at four Android handsets by the time of its release.
