TechCrunch is reporting that sales of the iPhone app iFog [$0.99 - iTunes link] have shot up following a T-Mobile commercial for the myTouch (their rebranded Google Android Magic, which in no way is meant to glom any mind share from i(Pod) touch), where Saturday Night Live alum, Dana Carvey demonstrates a similar Android app. Given This is a story by the iPhone Blog.

Donuts for everyone! Well, not everyone — but as we’d heard , at least some G1 and myTouch 3G owners on T-Mobile USA are now being blessed with an official Android 1.6 build over the air. The carrier says it has “begun delivery,” which we take means it’s not all happening at once; that’s the way the 1.5 rollout was handled, so it really doesn’t come as a surprise.
